Swim Workouts

Training Calendar for our group workouts.  Come and join us. We easily customize the workout to work for the group. Tri Newbies Training
Please join us at the ESIC YMCA for the scheduled workouts or use the workouts on your own. Times are 5:45-6:30am unless a time is listed. The Thursday 7pm coached swim training sessions have been very beneficial.

    Triathletes seemed to struggle with this far more than other swimmers, and there are a wide variety of reasons for this, however, one of the culprits we heard over and over again was athletes who explained that they “tried not to kick so they could save their legs for the rest of the race.” I think we've all heard this idea before, and it seems to make sense — we have to bike and run after the swim, so why waste our legs on the swim when our arms can do all the work?
